Four Days Culture
Day 1
San Sebastian Sightseeing and Pintxos
A walk through San Sebastián from East to West, climbing a mountain, crossing a river, getting to know its architecture, its geography, the secrets of its history and ‘cool,’ as well as its authenticity. There will be pintxos and an in-depth course on how to roll like a local in the beloved Basque bars.
Day 2
Biarritz, Saint Jean de Luz & Hondarribia
Are these the luckiest 40 kilometers of coastline in Spain and France? They are the luckiest 40 kilometers of coastline in Spain and France. The Côte Basque is world-famous for its quality of life, beaches, landscapes, idyllic houses and amazing gastronomy. A tour with stories from the Belle Epoque, pirates, surfers from 1950s Hollywood, cheese, chocolate, pintxos recommended by the New York Times… Need I say more? REALLY?
Day 3
Guggenheim and Basque Coast
A tour of a section of Basque Highway 101 through the greatest hits of the Basque coast (Did someone say “Dragonstone”?), arriving at the titanium museum that put Bilbao on the map.
Día 4
Basque Mountains, Ocean and Sanctuary of Loyola
Rocky mountains, a Basque baseball game, winding roads, a piece of Baroque Rome hidden in a valley, cliffs that explain the last 900,000 years of the planet, a beach inhabited by dragons, a Basque sailor who went ‘round the world for the first time ... oh wait! Is all of this true? Yes, of course. Ikusnahi never lies.
