Iñigo

Guide

My name is Iñigo. I’m from Irun, and my roots stretch across Gipuzkoa, Navarra and Álava. Growing up, I spent a lot of time listening to my grandparents’ stories about their younger years, how people lived, and how the Basque Country has changed over time. Those conversations stayed with me and shaped the way I see this place today, with a deeper awareness of its character and everything that still defines it.

That connection also lives in the way I experience food. For me, it is one of the most honest expressions of who we are. I love how here you can taste the sea and the mountains at the same table, in a way that feels simple and true. It is something I have always appreciated and something I enjoy sharing with others.

I have always been curious about the world and drawn to meeting new people. Every place I visit leaves something behind, and I keep a small habit of trying a local craft beer wherever I go. The more I travel, the more I value what I have at home, and the more natural it feels to open that world to others.

Music is also an important part of my life. It shapes the way I move through places and notice their rhythm, their energy, and the small details that make them memorable. In the end, that is what guiding means to me, helping people connect with a place in a way that feels real.
