Tour de Pintxos en San Sebastián | Rutas Culturales en Tours Privados País Vasco | IKUSANHI

Bilbao, Guggenheim y Costa Vasca.

Ikusnahi offers you the great opportunity to discover the spectacular Guggenheim, the “titanium building “, the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art.

We will leave Donostia/San Sebastian in the morning to go to Bilbao where we will visit the magnificent and unique fish shaped structure ( sculpture?) created by Frank Gehry at the end of the 20th century.

Then we will drive to Gaztelugatxe, a little chapel built on an island in the town of Bermeo, province of Biscay, that is linked to the mainland by an arched bridge.

This picturesque chapel is dedicated to San Juan and built on the 20th century. From here you have spectacular views of the Cantabric Sea with breathtaking cliffs, tunnels and arches carved by the sea.

We continue along the coast to the small town of Mundaka, in the biosphere reserve of Urdaibai. Mundaka is internationally renowned for its surfing scene, one of the best left wave in the world, as well as its beautiful walk paths along the beach, the town and the reserve.

After Mundaka we will follow along the coast and stop in Getaria, another coastal jewel,a beautiful fishing town famous for its beaches,Txakoli local white wine and the birthplace of Balenciaga and Juan Sebastian Elcano.

To finish the journey we will return to Donostia and here you may choose to end the day with some of our gastronomic activities in the city.
